Rouge Force Prolouge: Alternate Ending to Sword of Darkness. by: Pikallo --------------------------------------------------------------------- Author's note. This is the much mentioned DGF OVA. I will be writing it solo with input and feedback from the other writers. This is somewhat what Frag had invisioned mixed with how I saw it. Like Frag's I'm taking the characters to the extremes they should have been taken to. I am also exagerating the effect of the four main characters' respective parts of the Sword of the Whole to the degree that they should have been taken. Though it starts off loosely following the set canon, it takes a sharp right turn after this alternate ending to the Sword of Darkness series. So, don't cry foul for me messing with the continuity, plot points, even major character traits. This is what DGF would have been if it had been written by me with my current, more refined writing ability, as opposed to being my first venture into writing. I hope you enjoy. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Ultimate Chosen One, Mega-Fighter, Megalo-Frag, and Super Human level 2 Mac all stood before Armewgeddon. "You fools think you can defeat me? I have the power of the Sword of the Whole now, I am invicible!" The four super-humans new they were outmatched. But, they would not give up, the fate of the universe rested in their hands now. Ray looked at Armewgeddon and puts his hands at his side. "DIMENSIONAL OMNI-POWER BLAST!" Ray poured all his power into this one attack, hoping the others would follow suit, but, before he could finish gathering the energy for the attack someone else stepped in. Out of the Sword of the Whole came a four-winged angel. He turned to Armewgeddon and frowned. "I am Saraphim, the one who was trapped in the sword. I am an angel of The Living God, and now see that He was wrong. I am ressurected in evil. You wish to destroy the universe, and because it wanted to destroy you. It seems that none are worthy of living. I shall crush this world myself, and avenge my Master of this grievance." Without moving, Saraphim sent Armewgeddon flying into space, then incinerated him in a giant fireball. Mac stepped foreward warily, "May I beg to differ with your rash judgement. Can you not see into the hearts of us four and see that we are pure and holy before the eyes of God?" Ray spoke up then, "Yes, surely you can see that I am the Chosen One of Light. As well, my comrads here are also warriors of Heaven. We were trying to stop Mewtwo from destroying the universe. We humbly thank you for your assistance." Saraphim appeared to chew on those words, but grabbed the Sword of the Whole and swung it with mighty force against the four warriors. The four fighters were sent flying into the distance. Each depowered into human form instantly. Ray finally got up after getting flung 20 miles away. "He can depower us, how can fight him without super-human powers?" Frag layed there staring at the sky, "Someone's about to get their f@&$ing ass slaughtered. Noone but no one does that to a prince of Jurai." Mac meditated, "He is strong, there must be some weakness in his defenses." Shane sat up and held his stomach, "I need some Chocolate." Flying slowly back to the point were Saraphim was, they four warriors surrounded him and prepared to attack anyway. Ray powered up Dimensional Omni-power blast while Frag powered up W-bombardment. They fired their beams from opposite sides of Saraphim, but the energy was stopped and puddled on either side of the angel. Ray and Frag didn't miss a beat though, and plunged their fists into the energy. "ULIMATE MEGALO KNUCKLE!" "OMNI-VORTEX PUNCH!" Saraphim hadn't anticipated this, and was hit full on. After the smoke cleared, Saraphim used the Sword of the Whole to seperate Ray's Vortex and Human halves, then plunged it through Frag's body. Ray got up and realized that he had no power anymore. "I am a normal human now, I've lost all of my Vortex power." He tried to fire an energy beam, but mere sparks shot from his hands. Ray looked over to Mac and Shane, who were putting all they had into Saraphim. Looking at his outfit, he still wore the uniform of the Chosen One. "With or without my powers, I am still a Guardian, and I am still the Chosen One. I must protect the universe, even if it means that I die trying." Ray ran as fast as he could and got under Saraphim and pulled out GUN. He fired the super round right into Saraphim's gut at point blank range. "I WILL NOT LET YOU DESTROY THE UNIVERSE! I WILL NOT LET YOU KILL MY FRIENDS! I WILL NOT LET YOU ENDANGER ABBIE!" Looking down, Saraphim looked in bewilderment as Ray's body changed, he was transforming without his Vortex power. Ray screamed as loud as he could, with all of the righteous, holy rage he could. When the light cleared he stood there in white robes. On his hands and forehead were blue glowing crosses. "WARRIOR OF THE CROSS!" Meanwhile, Frag found himself traveling toward a light. "Is this....death? Am I dead?" He continued toward the light. "I am free, free of Jurai, free of my torment and suffering." Frag glanced back and saw the battle continuing without him, his friends getting slaughtered without mercy. "I wish i could help, guys, but I'm finally happy." His gaze turned again to see Katrina, Abbie, Espy, and Trig. "The women of our lives, Ray is giving his all for Abbie. Why should I die for some stupid girl? He also saw Jurai, and earth. "What am I doing? I can't live for myself forever, I have to go back, i have to change things. I WILL NOT DIE!" Frag performed a 180 and flew with all of his power against the current and headed back to earth. He slowly pulled himself out of the tunnel and appeared back in the arena. "Now, you killed me once SO IT'S MY TURN!" He found he had new power in him, and transformed into a higher state, "OMNI-FRAG!" Warrior of the Cross and Omni-Frag looked at each other and nodded. The walked to each other and clasped hands. Ray began an incantation, "With the holiness of two warriors, comes a greater power." Frag continued, "gods tremble at their might. Righteousness is the key." Ray went on, "The truth lies within all, the body is weak but the spirit is strong." Frag finished, "Two spirits are stronger than one, and when joined, they are the greatest power in the universe." Both clenched their hands into fists and swung at each other, when thier hands connected, they screamed, "FUZION: COMPLETE!" The being that emerged from the smoke was clad in white armor that seemed as if made of silk, his left arm was a golden wing and on his right hand and forehead were blue crosses. His hair stood up on end, and was spiked blue and silver. "I am Omni-Warrior." Mac and Shane looked at them in astonishment. "Uh, Mac, where did they learn that?" Mac stood there in disbelief, "i don't know. They have gained a new ability with thier greater power." Omni-Warrior powered up and drew a sword that seemed to be made out of a cross. Saraphim laughed, "So, you wield the Sword of the Cross, it will do you no good against me for I am following the will of God." Omni-Warrior laughed as hard as Saraphim, then turned grim and swung the blade with all his might, cleaving a large chunk out of the angel. Saraphim caughed up blood, "So, you are the more righteous ones and are following the will of God. I will not return to the sword willingly and bestow my power unto the four of you. Giving each the sword that best suits them." With that, Saraphim became the Sword of the Whole againa and split in the four swords. Omni-Warrior split back into Ray and Frag in human form. Shane and Mac stood beside thier friends as the sun rose over Cinnibar island. They had done it, they had saved the omni-verse. The four swords finished forming and hovered over the warriors. The Sword of Light returned to Shane, while the Sword of Darkness chose Ray as it's new master. Mac held the Key to Eternity, and the Ultimate Force joined with Frag. Each warrior felt the power of thier new weapon, they had not felt such forces opposing thier own nature before. Ray was the first to speak up, "We are now set apart, guys, we can't return to the Guardians. We must form our own group to travel the omni-verse and try to survive. Most likey both the Guardians and Destroyers will come looking for us, wishing to claim the power of the omni-verse." Mac chimed in, "We should form a Rouge Force, be bounty hunters and renegade doers of good deeds!" Frag was less enthusiastic, "I just want to get rich and kick ass while doing so." Unknown to the four, a lone figure floated in the distance. "So," he thought, "They defeated the angel after all. Also, the four swords seem to have chosen them as their new owners. They could prove a nuisance, but, not at the moment.
