Rouge Force Part 2: Loosing Others ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ It seems that others enjoyed the first part of the OVA more than the prolouge. Good, I was hoping you all would. I was told by Frag that I had OVA Frag down perfect. I was also told by Mac that Mac wasn't a deep enough character for his personal tastes. Yeesh, give me some time guys. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ "I AM THE CHOSEN ONE!" Ray and Cordran's transformations sent a shockwave through the Vortex that would have let any idiot know where they were. If the Guardians and Destroyers in the arena had not felt that, they would have felt the tremors caused by the transformatoins, as well as see the people they knocked down by the raw power they let loose. Kagato looked in the general direction of the power explosion, "It would appear that your friend and his brother are doing their usual thing. Those two lack the class and refinement we do. Do you really consider such scum your allies?" Frag clenched his fist, "I left Jurai willingly to escape the boredom of snobs like you, asshole." Kagato sighed dissapointedly then opened his palm and fired an energy assualt that sent Frag flying into the distance. Frag was able to stop himself in mid-air and transformed into Megalo-Frag. This transformation sent another shockwave through the area, and drew the attention of some of those who were looking at Ray and Cordran. Out of Ray and Cordran's hands sprung the three-bladed sword that marked them as Chosen Ones. They wasted little time and began to attack each other furiously on the ground, and continued the assualt as they moved in full 3D fighting style. The two were of equal overal skill and power, but they specialized in different area. Cordran excelled in raw power, making him in essence the stronger of the two. However, Ray had more control over his power, allowing him to do subconciously what took Cordran considerable concentration. The two were cut from the same cloth, two sides of the same coin, they were brothers in more ways than blood. Cordran distracted Ray long enough to get enough distance between them to fire an energy blast that would have taken Ray's head off, if Ray hadn't opened a portal and redirected the blast back at Cordran, who deflected it off into space. Ray began a charge at Cordran who mockingly motioned for him to try his best. Mac and Shane stood before the machines of Brin. They two had instantly felt Ray, Cordran, and Frag power up. "Our cover is blown, we might as well make this as short a fight as we can." Shane nodded his agreement, but caught a very scantily clad female walk by. He would not have payed her so much attention if she hadn't been gorgeous. This altered Shane's transformation into Mega-Fighter and shifted it into Mega-Pimp. The orange and purple suit appeared around him and the wide-brim hat materialized on his head. His sword took the appearance of a mahogany cane with "Violater" imbossed in gold lettering on the side. Ray slashed his sword high and from the left, but as Cordran moved to block it, Ray redirected his swing in an arc that moved in from the right. Cordran blocked this too, though, but it gave Ray enough time to get some distance between them and he sent out a call to his teammates. "Okay, what do we do? We can't get out of this easily, we are at best evenly matched with our opponents." Shane came on first, obiviously in Pimp mode due to the ebonic nature of his speech, "Try to get us up out of this isht, dog. You got the best control of the Vortex." Mac agreed, "You're the best bet of getting out of here right now." Ray sighed, he didn't have the time to concentrate enough to open 4 distinct portals while fighting Cordran. A darkness fell over his soul as he got his answer though. "If I use the Sword of Darkness, I'll have to power to keep Cordran at bay long enough to get us out of here. But, do I dare risk it? I can feel it's corruptive power just holding it, actually activating it could destroy me." When he was barely able to dodge an attack that could have anihilated him, Ray realized he had no choice. "With the power of hatred, evil, and corruption, I summon THE SWORD OF DARKNESS!" Seven super-power rings flashed on his hands and one by one came together to form the might blade of evil. "SWORD OF DARKNESS: ACTIVATE! If someone were so ignorant of the ability to sense energy that they missed the whole fight to this point, they would surely have felt a shiver down their spine as the power of the Sword of Darkness awakened in it's full power. The other three members of the group, however, were so atuned to power that they wave of pure evil that surged from the dark blade, that it knocked them off their feet. Shane felt sick to his stomach, while Mac actually turned and vommited with the vileness of the assault on his senses. Frag didn't visibly react, but did look within himself to keep from feeling the revulsion. In the time they spent fighting that horrid sword, they apparantly hadn't seen it used in all it's horrible power. Mewtwo had never truly activated the Blade's dark power, just used the power of the sword as a sword. However, no matter how the others felt, Ray felt the worst. He had thoughts and emotions flood his mind and soul that he didn't know could be so horrid, "I have got to end this fight quick, or I'll be consumed. CORDRAN, YOU WILL FALL HERE AND NOW!" Ray moved with such speed that his brother had to use all of his raw power to not get killed in the first assault. Ray turned, then dissapeared, only to reaapear above Cordran with a devastating two handed attack. Cordran was barely able to dodge, and lost a lot of hair to Ray's assault. Cordran countered with his own sword, then powered up and screamed: "DIMENSIONAL OMNI-POWER BLAST: FIRE!" Cordran expected Ray to dodge the assualt, then attack him while his brother was distracted, however, Ray held up the Sword of Darkness and merely absorbed Codran's attack, then smacked it back in a new way. "DESTRUCTION RAINS FROM ABOVE!" Moments after the Sword of Darkness awakened, the other blades too stirred, one by one they all unleashed their full power. Shane's Sword of Light glowed bright as he plunged it into his machine opponent. He slashed again and again, turning what was before one of the most powerful battle mechs into molecule sized particles. Mac, knowing he coulnd't thrust Lucifer's Key into action in it's fullest, threw it into his opponent. He then used it to open eternity for a nanosecond, just long enough to suck his opponent into the abyss. However, when the turned to face Brin, they found themselves looking at two more of the machines. "So, you beat my first two pets, beat these other two!" Kagato held his energy blade up and prepared to deal a death blow to the Juraian Prince, but inches above Frag's head an energy barrier held it. Frag's Juraian markings glowed with tremendous light as thirteen blades appeared in front of him to catch the assault. "The power of Jurai, very good Prince, 13 no less. I did not think even Tsunami could summon up that many of the Wings of the Lighthawk." Frag didn't care at this point, he reached out and the wings encased him in white armor, each of the wings forming spikes on his back. Reaching back, he constructed them into a sword. "BY THE POWER OF THE ULTIMATE FORCE: I ORDER THAT THE HEAVENS DEVIDE!" The swipe of the sword cut straight through Kagato's counter strike, as well as him and the rest of the arena. Kagato looked at Frag, who was breathing heavily, "Very good, Fudo, till we meet again." Kagato disintigrated into a whisp of smoke and departed. Cordran braced for the impact of the many beams of energy racing toward him. He felt each one as they ripped through his body, regardless of the barrier he erected to projected to protect himself. He found himself engulfed in pain and hatred, enough to trigger a new transformation, "Soldier of the Abyss!" Ray saw the transformation, and felt its repurcussions flowing toward him through the Vortex, triggering his own transformation, "Warrior of the Cross!" Ray used his new power, as well as that of the sword, to open a channel in the Vortex. But he did not go through himself, he launched Cordran and Brin through it. Both were sent screaming into unknown regions of the Vortex. Ray fell to the ground and reverted to his normal form and about collapsed from exhaustion. The others came together around Ray and they all looked at each other. "Okay, I'm guessing we're not the only ones with superior powers anymore," Mac sighed after saying this. Ray braced himself on the Sword of Darkness, "No kidding, and who the Hell is this Zengaudimus fellow?" Frag felt cold fingers dig through his gut at the mention of that name, but didn't betray those thoughts to his companions. Looking to the stars, Shane sighed and held the Sword of Light high, "I DEMAND THAT EVERYONE ON THIS PLANET GIVE ME CHOCOLATE FOR SAVING YOU!" This earned him a backhanded slap from Ray. Suddenly, the earth began to shake and crack. Everyone looked around and saw a clean cut fissure running as far as they could see in both directions starting from the arena. Mac quickly turned to Frag, "YOU CUT THE PLANET IN HALF WITH YOUR ATTACK!" A muted "sorry" was all they got out of him. Mac's mind raced, how could he stop all of these people from dying? He couldn't sit there and do nothing, these people needed help! Mac clutched his head in torment, he felt their pain, their fear. It overwellmed him, the urge to end their suffering another way. Lucifer's Key glowed brightly under his shirt. "I WILL NOT LET THIS PIECE OF SCRAP METAL TAKE OVER ME! I AM J T MACLEOD!" He transformed to Super-Human Lv.1 , then Lv. 2. His armor shifted more, grew more elborate, while his hair shot out on end and grew longer than before. "SUPER-HUMAN LEVEL THREE!" Mac's transformation knocked everyone back off their feet, though Mac felt more enlightened, like he was more attuned to the universe. Suddenly, the anylist found the answer to their question. "Everyone, listen up. Take out your Swords and go where I tell you. Shane, go the North Pole. Ray, go the South Pole. Frag, go to the west of the Prime Meridian, and I'll go opposite you. Communicate to each other when you get in place." Before anyone could object, Mac took off, leaving an explosion crater where he had been standing. Ray transformed to Warrior of the Cross and took off south, while Shane became Mega-Fighter and flew to the north. Frag was left to sit and wonder what was going on. Shrugging, he turned to Omni-Frag and went off to the west. When they reached thier destinations, they drew their swords and waited for Mac to tell them the next part in his plan. Mac began his plan. "We don't have much time, but, we can stabalize the planet if we use the power of the Swords." Ray chimed in, "We can't form the Whole, it's too dangerous, and we're on opposite parts of the globe from each other." Mac spoke with the voice of a wisened warrior, "That was not my intention, we can use the Sword of Light's holy power and the Ultimate Force's life giving elements to seal the planet and heal the core. We then use the Sword of Darkness and Lucifer's Key to neutralize the power before it gets too strong." Shane was stunned, it was a good plan, and a simple one. "Okay, here goes nothing. Sword of Light: HOLY BEAM!" Shane held the sword high with both hands, then thrust it into the ground. Frag floated above the ground at his point and heard all of this, still brooding over the mention of Zengaudimus. "So, my old mentor, you have returned. But, I though you were dead?" A voice came through his communicator, "Frag, are you there? Hurry up and use the Ultimate Force!" He fumbled a second, "Oh, yeah, whatever." His Jurai markings glowed again and he created the Heaven's Devide and thrust it into the ground: LIFE SURGER!" Both beams collided in the center of the planet, Shane's began to re-seal the plant while Frag's restored the core to it's normal state. "NOW RAY!" Mac thrust the Key into the planet and sent it's dark power out to cancel the power of the Ultimate Force while Ray fired a beam to stop Shane's healing ray. Out of nowhere, the planet glowed bright as a sun going super-nova. When the light faded, the four warriors hoved over the planet, they had saved it. Mac smiled to himself, then his eyes rolled back into his head and he fell from the sky and Lv. 3. Ray was barely able to catch him before he reached re-entry altitude, but, he did and opened a Vortex Portal in from of the them, and the four warriors returned to their base.
