There is some nice andspicy stuff in this one. Sit back, grab a voodoo, and experiance the nerve numbing abilities. Then read my fic. Enjoy. ". . .Former Deputy Raven," Mac said with a smirk. This guy was a royal pain in the @ss. Not only had he almost single-handedly flunked me out of the Acadamy, but he had also restricted my chocolate content to two bars a day. Of course I used some of my mad hacking skillz and ended up getting him demoted to Galactic class crossing gaurd. I am one evil dude when you mess with my chocolate. "Not just no, but oh freaking h*ll no," I said again through a set jaw and gritted teeth. I stood up and pointed through the door. Mac just let out a chuckle. "He is the second best inflitration agent that we can get our hands on," Mac said almost bursting out into spontaneous laughter. I walked over to Mac and restrained the urge to slap him senseless. "Where did you dig him up? The last thing I did was erase most of his files and encripted the rest. He should be holding a little sign standing at a crossroads wearing florecent orange!" I said. Raven stepped over to me and looked at me. "Do you know what kind of h*ll I went through? Every day, those little demons of hell running up to me chatting with their harpy voices, talking about their boy friends and girlfriends. Then the older ones came. Do you know how many times I was called Raven the Rheudabegger? Or how about Rump Rider Raven? It was worse than teaching a whole class full of McInnis clones. I have paid my dues. If anything you should be glad that I am not trying to kill you now," he said grimly. I just looked at the dude. Then I just fell flat out laughing. "They called you Rump Riding Raven? Man I have to remember that one," I said inbetween gasps for air. He stood stone faced and I could tell that his anger was growing. I continued to laugh for like ever. I eventually stopped long enough to catch my breath. "I guess that you have paid your dues. Welcome aboard," I stuck my hand out to shake his. When he grabbed mine a huge jolt of electricity shot forth from my hand. I fell to the floor laughing once again and Mega Jester made one of his rare appearances. Raven flipped out and walked out the door . Or rather Mac dragged him out kicking and twitching from the jolt. I stopped by to pick up a report from Cratin on my way to my room. When I walked in the door I opened the folder and flopped down in my sofa to read over it. It seemed a lot better than I thought. Most of the Academy was against Brin. I commed Mac and asked him what he learned from his speech. It was mainly the same thing that Cratin had reported. He did add that he felt a strong evil power. He couldn't pinpoint it in the crowd but he knew it was there. I dug through the papers for ages until Katrina and Hogo walked in through the door. "Hey honey," I said from my sofa seat. She walked over and I kissed her after she took her usual seat under my arm. Hogo walked over to look over my shoulder at the report. "It looks bad, but not too bad. Brin does have almost all of the Merchants and about half of the seniority, but we have the man advantage. We have about ninty percent of the Academy counting staff and workers. It looks to me like about a 60-40 split our way," I informed. "Why can't you just 'get rid' of him?" Hogo asked. This dude was way too much like me for everyone else's own good. "First of all he is way to active to get a clean operation to work, and we can't just walk up to him and bust a cap in his head," I said, "our only hope is to just find a way to swing all of his supporters to our side." I looked over to Katrina who looked up at me and just smilled and reached her arm around me so she could mess with my hair. It bugged me to death but if it made her happy I wasn't gonna tell her to stop. Katrina and I were watching some old movies about three hours later when a very disturbed Draco walked in. "Um, Shane, we have a problem," he said. I asked him what it was and he motioned me over to him so Katrina couldn't hear. "Brin is calling us out," he said. I was flattened. The whole idea of Brin thinking that he could take us on was stupid. I knew that we had to do something immeadiatly so I hit the emergency SG hail button on my comm and told Katrina that I probably would not be home for supper. In the Hall eight bodies were present. I decided that Raven should be in on this since he needed to know what we did anyway. "Ok we have a big ol situation," I said, "I need reports from everyone." I looked first to Sarhedrin who was on Brin sitting duty. "Well, I have to say that he has been a pretty busy man. In the last two days he has met with his buddies thirteen times, with Heads of mercantil companies eight times, with his officer lackeys ten times, and addressed the Academy trainees five times. Not only that he has bugged everyones room.I had some fun and carefully moved the bugs to the bathroom toilets. He has been particularly active with some strange dimention. I can't quite get a fix on what or where it is so it must be a Delta or a low Beta. He has used the bathroom seven times, five pees and two---" "ENOUGH information for me," I said looking over to Cratin. He stood up to give his report. "Well looks like we have the lead so far but it isn't a very big one. The count in the academy changes almost hourly. The 50-50 split in officers is pretty stable now. I do say though that if it gets bad and we split we have very little means of getting supplies or weaponry due to his almost total control over the trade routes. And he has called us out. He wants us to have a little test or something. It is pretty stupid in my opinion. He might just be using it as a scam. If we don't fight him we are weak and not cohesive. If we do we are harsh and hot headed. I think he might have the upper hand this time," Cratin said as he sat back down with a sigh. I looked to Raven who looked like he was ready to talk so I gave him the floor. "I have started going through the personnel lists for every dimention and checking for any Brin espionage agents. It is obvious that we have a leak somewhere. I intend to find whoever it is and effectivly neutralize them. So far I have found a large amount of money coming from an unknown source. This is what I am guessing is a large account to pay off people. I am gonna try to follow it and connect it to Brin. This way I might be able to swing a few people our way. It is gonna take a while though," he said. I decided to call a vote to see what we should do about Brin. It was a six to one to fight him. Draco said that it would be a waste of energy and lack of challenge. I told Cratin to somehow get in touch with the big goofball and tell him that we were coming. I sure hoped that we weren't walking into a trap. Irvine informed me that he had a good idea on how to weasel out the security leak. I thought that it might work so I told him to go pass it on to Raven. Shandra left with Mac to go meet a still shaken Espy. Sarhedrin went back to his monitors, and Draco found his usual place by me. He was almost becoming clingy. I walked over to the hangar and prepaired my H-wing fighters. We were going in in style. Plus I figured that it might even the odds if it were a trap. One resonance missile could take out a capitol ship if aimed correctly. I was just loading the last of them onto Hogo when Cratin informed me that he had a time and a place. I told him to round everyone up and come to the hangar. I called Katrina and told her what was up and she warned me very strictly that I had better come back. Mac was the first one up and Kyusia volunteered to come along. I sent message for Phoenix squardon to load their Dimentional Fighters onto Kyusia. These guys were good. I had trained most of them myself. I sent word to Leia Organa Solo and asked if she could spare a few Calamari Cruisers and fighters. She sent three and a Mon Calamari, all loaded to the gills. Irvine got in touch with some of his friends and told me that something called the Ragnarock was coming to help out. I called in some old debts and scrounged up three Imperial Class Star Destroyers and a half dozen Modified Corvets. I decided that we were ready so we all boarded. "Everyone, this might be a trap so keep your eyes open. We are going to the Seartor system in earth beta. I want Hogo and Kyusia to come in first to see if everything is ok. Then a minute later I wand the Calamari Cruisers, the Corvets and whatever the ragnarock is to come in. Everyone else drop in a minute after that. Maybe we will scare anybody that might be there off with two ships. Ok, good luck, keep your heads on straight. I wanna see everybody come back from this one," I said confidantly. We had enough firepower to take on three Death Stars, I am sure that Brin didn't have that kind of back up. I leaned my hand over to the control pannel and opened a portal to Earth Beta. Hogo and Kyusia flew through with all weapons fully charged and ready to fire. I saw a quick flash of blue as we passed through the portal then open space in front of me. "I guess Brin chickened out," I said under my breath. My words were shattered when not a purple or blue portal opened but a huge red one. Then my forward view screen was full of about twenty capitol ships that were evidently new because I didn't recognize the design. They were huge circular disks with a triangular shaped part coming off of it. They kinda looked like a Star Destroyer with a big frisbee on the bottom. I asked Hogo to scan his data bases and he didn't know what they were either. "Open a channel," I said. When Draco nodded at me I sent my message, "Hailing unknown ships, this is Supreme Gaurdian Shane McInnis aboard the Flagship Hogo. Identify yourselves," instead of a normal responce I got laser blasts. Big ones, red colored, and coming from every direction. "Nevermind!" I said, "Everyone to your fighter, Hogo shoot them out of the sky." As we reached the hangar the second wave of our attack force arrived. I sent word for Phoenix squadron to launch immeadiatly and for the ships to start shooting anything. The engines of my H-wing hummed to life as I skipped preflight and flew straight into the fray. Draco was not to far behind me, then everyone else minus Mac who I told to be our resident stratagist. Everyone picked a wingman. Then over the speakers came Brin's voice. "I see that you have quite an odd array of ships. I would like to introduce you to the Sheol type war cruiser. They are quite beautiful aren't they. They also have a smaller surprise, the Serpent type fighter." As he said this about two full wings of little fighters spewed out of almost every Sheol Cruiser. They had two parallel wings like a fighter but instead of octagons they were triangles with the points going forward. The cockpit was a work of art. It was a globe that had 360 swivel capabilities in any direction. They were powered by a single engine on the back of the globe that burned a red glow. They flew at us at break neck speed. "Everyone battle ready!" I screamed. I flipped the switch and my s-foils flipped up to form the 'H' shape that gave my fighter its name. I quickly locked on to a Serpent and sent a torpedo to waste it. To my surprise the missile flew right past the ship and hit an unlucky pilot about four thousand meters back. "What?" I asked myself. I heard Draco ask the same thing when his missile went arry missing everything completely. "It looks like they have some kinda missle jammer," I said, "Just gonna have to take them out the hard way." I flipped over to lasers just as Phoenix squadron entered the area. The Serpents were extremely fast and mobile but the seemed to have pretty week weapons. I took a direct hit with a linked pair of their lasers and my sheilds only dropped 1%. I didn't mind but it was strange. Behind us Hogo and Kyusia let out a dual laser barage that wiped out a whole wing of Serpents flying in close formation on a bombing run. About that time a larger ship emerged from the wall of Sheol's. It was about as big as an Eclipse, we were screwed. "How do you like the Lucifer?" I heard Brin's voice cackle. It was a huge flat Triangle with jagged edges and a smaller triangle inverted perpindicular in the back. It opened its hangars and about 36 more Serpents poured out. "Ok people we need to even the odds in a hurry, anyone who has any starfighters launch them now. Mac see what you can do in the form of a mass firing on that big thing. Everyone eliminate the fighters, if you get a shot at one try to take out a Sheol. fighters are first priority then the Big thing. The Sheol's don't look to bad." I flew straight into the pack with my lasers firing full blast. I took out one Serpent as it went on a plunge to avoid Irvine's blasts. I saw a pair of them circling around behind me so I cut my throttle, slammed my rudder to the left and blew up one. Shandra who seemed to be a natural in a fighter picked the other off from behind. I swung my fighter back to the right just in time to pop off a shot at a Serpent who was closing in on Phoenix 4. The Calamari's opened their hangar and two wings of x-wings and two more of B-wings from each spead toward us. To my surprise a whole wing of TIE-Defenders flew out from one of the Star Destroyers and a whole wing of Missile Wings from the other. The odds were very quickly balancing. The capitol ships moved together and all at once they opened up on the Lucifer. Missiles and Lasers alike cut a path clear of Serpents and slammed into the Lucifer's side. The huge ship slowly turned to bear and fired a huge laser that took out a Modified Corvet in one blast. It had a super laser. This was bad. I told Mac to get some help really fast from anyone. Out of the corner of my eye I saw an explosion as Phoenix one took out a Serpent. Almost like you turned on a light switch the Serpents began to open fire. But these laser's weren't any pop guns. They made some serious impact. Everyone noticed that they had stepped up the competition so we began to up our attacks. I opened my throttle to full speed and flew straight at half a wing of Serpents. They in synch swung to my direction and formed up very nicely. I tossed a resonance missile in the middle of them which took out every single one when it exploded. "Someone switch to Ions and see if we can catch a few of them," Sarhedrin said. This guy was smart. The TIE-Defenders had somehow gotten in behind the fight and come up between the fighters and the Sheol's. They began to make easy pickings of the unaware Serpents. I saw about three X-wings explode when a Serpent and his wingman lured them out of the pack. Another huge blast shot from the Lucifer and nailed a Star Destroyer. Then I got a crazy idea. I looked out my back glass and saw the Missile wings just wasting their time firing torpedoes into the fray hoping to pick off a Serpent or two. "Hey all you Missile wings!" I yelled over the comm, "How bout you all dock with Hogo and get some resonance missiles to go try to take out that big SOB with the super laser?" They all flew toward Hogo. About that time another mass blast came from the combination of ships. They once again nailed the Lucifer in the same spot. It didn't even look like they made a scratch. I looked around and noticed that all of the X-wings were gone now and about half of the B-wings were also vaped. We were trading one ship for three or four. At this rate we would have them finished in about an hour. We had to make a new plan. "Hey Mac any bright ideas, we are out numbered about 3 to one. We need to kick some butt and quick!" I yelled. "I have an idea," Mac said. About a minute later I saw Mac's Lambda class personnel shuttle fly out toward the fray. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Cratin screamed over the comm. The only thing we heard was the sound of Mac laughing softly. When the cargo bay opened and a small body floated out everyone was scared to death. But there was no need to be. Mac began to power up and blast serpent after Serpent out of the sky with Ki attacks. He was literally wiping them out. I decided that he had a good idea so I shut down my engine and put my helmet on. I opened the hatch and began to blast for all get out. To my surprise the balance began to swing out way. It ended up with all of the SG's covering the TIE-Defenders and Phoenix squadron. The number of serpents dropped like a lead wait in a swimming pool. They were too busy trying to pick off a human and being vapped by a star fighter that was behind them. When there was only about eight more I saw Phoenix squadron start to ionize them. In a few minutes all of the Serpents were either nuked or being towed back to Kyusia. About that time the Lucifer let out another blast that hit two Corvets and wasted them. Then I remembered the Ragnarock. I didn't know what it was and I didn't know where it was so when we all reboarded our fighters to regroup I asked Irvine where it was. He called out that it was 3 o'clock high. I looked out my window and saw a really kick @ss tight ship flying cover for any of the starfighters who needed to come in to resupply, reload, or be repaired. I commed over to them. "Hey Ragnarock thanks for running cover," I said. "No problem," I heard a young girl's voice answer. Now that the massive waves of Serpents had been taken cared of I decided that we needed to get the Lucifer out of the way. I turned to my left back towards Hogo and saw the newly supplied Missile wings flying back out. It was time to see what this thing was made of. "Missile Wings get into range and start blast. Phoenix Squadron get into close range and try to draw fire away from the Missile Wings. TIE-Defenders and H-wing flight, follow me we are going to get us a Sheol," I said. Irvine let out a war whoop over the comm and I swear that I heard Sarhedrin start to cuss him out. Our H-wings dipped into formation and Draco selected the target. One of the Sheol's had appearantly been crashed into by an out of control B-wing. We reached missile range and I waited for the tone that signaled missile lock. As soon as I heard it I lit two resonance missiles out of my launchers as did everyone else. In all twelve missiles spead at the Sheol. It opened fire to try to knock some of them down. They only succeed with one. The other eleven slammed into the surface and the nuclear blast rattled the circular part of the ship. We all pulled up and flew at top speed away from it expecting a huge explosion that we hoped would take the thing down. I snapped my fighter around to watch it explode. To my surprise the thing just kept shooting at us. Note it did have a huge gaping whole that you could fly a Corellian Transport through, but it kept coming. "That's never good," I said, "We are going to have to go at it again. Everyone aim for that triangle thing, I think that it might be the control deck," I said. I checked on the progress of the Lucifer attack and noticed that there was only one Star Destroyed now. Half of the missile wings were gone and I couldn't see a single member of Phoenix squadron. "Oh sh*t. Everyone pull back and return to Hogo or Kyusia. Any capitol ship that can hear me get the h*ll out of here now. We have been effectivly smashed," I said dejectedly. We were in far above our heads. "Leaving so soon McInnis?" I heard Brin say over the comm, "We were just starting to have fun." "Go sit on a broomstick and spin you egomaniacal son of a b*tch," Draco screamed back at him as we flew into the hangar. As soon as we were aboard we portaled out. I didn't know how we were going to do it, but we surely needed to find a quick way to get Brin's little fleet into small sized floating space chunks. Back at NCC in the SG Hall we looked over the schematics. "It looks like the things are freaking impregnible," Irvine said over my shoulder. I had to agree that the Lucifer seemed to have no weak point. It wasn't even damaged by the huge assault launched on it. Mac came in with the readouts on the captured Serpents and their pilots. It seemed that the pilots were of an unknown race. They called themselves the Ne'llaf. They were odd looking with black skin and white hair. They had red beady eyes and large black leathery wings. They refused to answer any more questions and didn't have any dog tags or identification so we decided to hold them for questioning by a Jedi. "The ships are truly a new type, we have nothing even remotely like them in any archive," Mac said. He dropped the folder on the table next to the plans of the Lucifer and Sheol's. He had about the same look as we all did. After about five more minutes of talking my comm buzzed on. "Hello," I said. A very agitated Katrina was on the other end. She told me to turn on a monitor to watch the broadband news. I flipepd on the nearest one and saw a very angry Brin standing in front of a camera. "Today, the so called Supreme Gaurdians made an unprovoked attack on the prototypes of our new peace keeping fleet. They acted without reason or explination. I would like to call for the quick and just removal of each and every Supreme Gaurdian. In turn I would like to ask the Leauge of Nations to appoint me temporary leader of the DGF and moderator of NCC. Remember, I will take care of you. And I surely won't make unexpected attacks on ships of our own fleet. Thank you have a nice day." "That lousy piece of trailor park, scum sucking, low down, lame excuse for a mangy womp rat," I said. "People, it is time to take some action. Start spreading the word. It looks like we are going to have to go with plan B."
