Knights of Daybreak Chapter Fourteen By: W.Bob Yankovic If you liked the last one you will like this one. there is more kick butt fighting on the way, along with some not expected plot development. If you have any theories of how this all unravels you might have to rethink them after this one. Sit back, relax, grab some chocolate and voodoo and enjoy. "Hmmm, interesting change there McInnis," Vyraxon said as he gazed upon my second superhuman form Hell Blitzkreig, "You might even say that I am quite pleased as well." I didn't know what the heck he was talking about, but at that moment I really didn't care. After how he had disgraced Shandra he was going to pay dearly. "WHATEVER YOU THINK DEMON!" I screamed as I launched into him. my first punch threw him back off of his feet and into the crater that once held my body. I flew up in the air with my new found wings and dove at break neck speed down at him. I threw my fists out and hit him square in the gut. I didn't stop flying though. I just kept going, driving his already misshapen body through the ground. I wasn't sure if Hell had a center like Earth, but I was willing to find out. Soon I tierd of the game and flew back out of my mile deep hole. Before I had a chance to catch my breath Vyraxon was out of it and charging at me. I spun out of the way and caught him by his good leg. I pulled him back towards me and grabbed his thigh with my free hand. The next thing I can remember is feeling his knee give way and the lower half of his leg rip off clean. He cried out in pain as thick gooey black blood spilled out over my armor. "YOU WILL PAY FOR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE!" I screamed as I gave him a scissor kick to the back, sending him sprawling to the ground. Right after he landed I was on top of him pummeling him with punches to his half of a face. When I felt the remainer of his skull crack under one of my punches I stood up and spit on him. "You aren't worthy to fight me. And you certainly aren't worthy to fight God," I said as I threw his leg at him. "You..speak..to..me..as..if..you..have..won," he said as he lifted himself off of the ground with his wings. "I am not yet dead am I? What did I tell you? I am hundreds of times stronger than that weakling Saraphim. You cannot defeat me so easily. Look at your friends. One is a pile of ash, and the other five lie with their smoldering bodies broken to pieces in those holes there. Surely if the combined power of seven cannot beat me, the second level of one doesn't stand a chance. You saw how your "Mac" failed in finishing me off. I tell you that nothing short of God himself can kill me now," Vyraxon said as he began to hover towards me. "You expect me to be scared. But I tell you that it is you who should be scared of me," I said as I lit into him again. I threw all that I had into it. I grabbed a wing in each hand and began to kick and knee his chest until I was sure that he had nothing left there but a cavity. Then he surprised me, with his one arm he reached down and caught my knee. He began to squeeze it until I had to let go of his wings so I could get him off of me. As soon as I let go, he flew back with blinding speed and chucked a huge red ki blast at me. I was caught off gaurd and thrown a good way back. He appeared above me and began to hurl blast after blast into my body. I was helpless to escape. For some reason I couldn't seem to make my arms or legs move. He began to scream over the sound of his attacks ripping their way through my armor and down to my skin. "YOU! ARE! POWERED! BY! ME! I! CONTROL! YOU!" he screamed as he reached down and grabbed my now pulverized body by the neck. He brought me up to his eye level. "You just don't get it do you? Your name is Hell Blitzkreig. HELL Blitzkreig. Why do you think that you gained such power? Why do you think that you grew wings and your skin turned black? When you were fighting Saraphim, Lucifer gave me permission to posess your body and lend you my power. One angel out of the way was just cause. So now you see. The story is told. Your blackened soul was used as a pawn of Satan to help his cause. And you took the glory for yourself. You even stooped low enough to give glory to God for your victory. And now as your comrades lie helpless and you are rendered powerless, I will let you see the truth about your "God," he said. Before my eyes the setting began to change. Where there was once flames and smoke there were now fields of green. And where there were once screams and howls of the damned, there was the sound of a great battle. I noticed that he had transported my friends along with me, though I still couldn't tell their state. "Look! Look at how it truly came to pass," He said as he threw me to the ground. I managed to struggle up to my knees to look out on the battle field. Before me there were countless batallions of angels fighting an equal, if not more, number of demons. In the very center of the battle field I noticed two warriors fighting with each other. Almost as if I was looking through a pair of binoculars, the image of the two warriors zoomed in close enough for me to tell who they were. The angel, holding the Sword of Light, was none other than Micheal, the demon, brandishing the Sword of Darkness, was Vyraxon. They fought with unmeasureable power and fury. Thier Swords shocked upon each other, each time creating huge sparks that flew out and singed anyone who happened to be near them. Neither ever seemed to gain the upper hand, they seemed to be exact equals. Suddenly the image zoomed back out to the whole battle field. The demons began to push the lines of angels back. From out of nowhere another group of angels rushed forward to combat the demons. The assault was stopped, but only for a moment because from the back of the lines Lucifer himself joined the fray. He destroyed whole lines of angels away with huge flaming arrows, shot from a likewise flaming bow. With thier leader now on hand, the demons fought with increased valor. The angels began to fall back again until their backs were up against a huge, almost larger that life, gate that looked like it was made of solid pearl. Then from behind the gate I heard a booming voice. "WAIT," the voice said so loudly that it caused my ears to bleed. Slowly the gait swung open and a dazzling brightness filled all that I could see. I shut my eyes, but the light was so bright that it even hurt me through my eyelids. I burried my face in the ground hoping for the pain to cease. As soon as it did the voice began to speek. I jammed my fingers into them to preserve what little hearing I had left. "LUCIFER. YOU HAVE TURNED YOUR BACK ON ME. YOU HAVE FORSAKEN YOUR PLACE IN MY PRESENCE. YOU ARE NO LONGER WORTHY TO STAND IN MY SIGHT. I HAVE CREATED A PLACE FOR YOU, AND SEND YOU THERE NOW!" the voice said. I didn't dare lift my head to see what was going on but I did hear the screams of hundreds of demons as they were sent to Hell. Soon I heard what I expected to be the angels returing to the inside of the gates. Then I heard another voice, this one I had never heard before. It wasn't as loud as the first voice, nor did it carry with it the respect or authority of the first one. Instead this one was a soft, beautiful, yet angry one. The voice was a melodious one. I felt that if he were to tell me to do anything I would be forced to do it. It had an almost hypnotizing effect on me. I could only think of one individual with this kind of power. I dared to pick my face up, and saw Lucifer standing at the gate in what appeared to be a stare down with Micheal. "You have taken my place then have you," he said to Micheal. "No, you were replaced by the Archangel Gabriel," Micheal said to him in an anrgy voice. "No need to be sore there old friend, soon you will bow your knee to me," Lucifer said. Micheal shook his head and laughed at him from the other side of the gate. "God has a new plan, you will be imprisoned, tourtured, and in pain for the rest of eternity. And there is nothing that you, or any of your other foul demons can do about it," Micheal said. That image faded away and reappeared much as if it had restarted. Demons fought angels on the open field with Vyraxon and Micheal duking it out in the middle. Then the voice cried out "WAIT" again. The gates swung open and out poured millions upon millions of people dressed in war gear. The angels fell back and the humans began to fight the demons. Then from behind me Vyraxon spoke for what seemed to be the first time in ages. "See. God took his angels back from the battle and sent you humans in to fight in their place. Sure, due to your numbers you were able to fight a pretty even fight. But over the course of time, Lucifer began to play tricks on you and we regained the upper hand. The image faded away, and I turned to face Vyraxon. "God just let you die. The humans that fight bravely for Him, He lets go to heaven after a while. He just leaves some of them out there for us to take and shape as we will. He doesn't care for you. He has the power to destroy every demon in existance and he lets humans do his work for Him, many needlessly dieing in the process. Is this the God to whom you devote your wretched lives to?" Vyraxon hissed out. He looked to me and laughed. "Look at you. You were only strong when you embraced the true power. You were only victorious when your anger and hatred fueled you. Everything that you attributed to God, was in fact our doing. Do you really believe now that you can defeat me? You haven't even faced me at my full power and you have lost. If you give up now I will spare your life if you fight with me. You can have the power that you crave so much. You can feel the victory, the glory, anything that you want. Don't you want to be happy? Don't you want for your children to grow up without being threatened? What about your wife? Don't you want to be able to give her anything that she wants? I tell you this, I can give you whatever your mind can think up. God's whole trick is to make you believe that He is the only person that can give you joy. What about your dead friends? Wouldn't you like to bring them back? See all of these things you are missing? God won't give them to you, so why not take them for yourself?" he said. "You lie. I don't want what you claim to be able to give me. And I think that it is best if you don't even talk about my family or my friends. I tend to get angry and really violent when people threaten my loved ones. Oh, and one more thing, I will not forsake the one who died for me. I will find the power to destroy you. You said yourself that God can destroy you. And God will use me one way or the other. My eternity is secured with him, need I remind you of where your eternity is to be spent?" I said as I stood up. "WHAT!? YOU DARE MOCK ME!? YOU HAVE NOW SEALED THE FATE OF YOUR SOUL! IT CANNOT BE IN THE PRESENCE OF GOD IF I TURN YOU AGAINST HIM! AND I CAN! WITNESS JUST A FRACTION MORE OF MY POWER!" he bellowed as he began to glow. His deformed body began to fill itself back in. His missing arm, leg, tail, and half of head sprung out of their respective places much like a Namek's would. But then he began to grow. His wings spread out and became much thicker. His legs and arms grew and the muscles on them thickened greatly. The once wiry tail thickened and lengthened out a good bit. Then his neck began to elongate. Soon his head was stretching out and his teeth were sticking out of his mouth. With a huge crash he landed on the ground. Before me stood Vyraxon, in the likeness of a dragon. He let out a huge bellow that shook me to the ground and cracked it under me. "PREPAIR TO DIE HUMAN!" he screamed out as he shot a huge plume of black smoke out of his mouth at me. I was in big trouble needless to say. ----------------------- The battle raged on out the front view port of Hogo. Qui paced on her platform trying to make sence of the new developments. "How long before the planetary assault force gets here?" she said as she brushed a strand of hair back behind her ear. "They should be here within ten minutes," the deck officer reported. Qui nodded in agreement. Although the Dark Flame Fleet had done nothing but deploy fighters so far, she knew the power that they held. The Lucifer, that was now charging up its main cannon, had enough firepower to exterminate a whole dimension if calculated correctly. The fighters were doing as well as could be expected against an enemy that greatly outnumbered and outmatched them. The Serpent fighters, although not heavily sheilded or armed, were two hundred times more manuverable than any fighter that the Knights had in their fleet. "Ma'am the Lucifer's main cannon has reached firing charge, and the Sheos seem to be changing their course to take aim at our fleet. What should we do?" the officer asked. She looked to him and then down to the holographic display of the battle field. The Lucifer had moved out from the pack and was now close enough to fire upon with the artilerary from the capital ships. The explosive laden psuedo-serpent fighter was meandering its way through the mass of fighters towards the Lucifer. "Send in the Serpent fighter when the sheilds go down," she said. The deck officer noted this and notified the fighters to clear a lane for it to fly in. Qui glanced down at the three H-Wing fighters that Raven was controling. He piloted only one, while sending attack data to the other via remote control. She saw yet another red dot fade off of the screen infront of Raven. Secretly she wished that he would return to Hogo and take over command again. She had never been one for giving orders. She saw the rigged Serpent fly through the majority of the battle and bank a curve over to the barrel of the Lucifer. If the plan was right, the shielding of the Lucifer would drop ten seconds before the main cannon fired. Then the Serpent would fly into the barrel and hopefully blow it up. A bright light brought her attention back to the view port. There before her eyes was the biggest, and reddest, portals she had ever seen. "What in God's name are they doing?" she asked the deck officer. He looked down to his monitor, then hit it and punched a few keys on his keypad. "Ma'am, the portal leads to Camelot," he said with a cry of fear. Qui couldn't believe what she heard. There was no way that the Fallen knew where Camelot was. She didn't even know that it existed until Shane had brought her there. "ALL SHIPS OPEN FIRE ON THE LUCIFER WHEN ITS SHIELDS DROP! DON'T LET IT FIRE! NOTIFY CAMELOT TO EVACUATE! NOW!" she screamed over the comm. "Hogo, when you sence the shields drop blast it with the Core Cannon. I don't care how long it takes you to recharge just do it," Qui said in a hurried voice. For what seemed like an eternity everyone waited in silence. Then like a light switch going off the alarm went out. "Shields down" was the only thing the deck officer had to say to start the salvo. Over fifty capital ships opened fire with all weaponry fully charged at the Lucifer. "Core Cannon firing," Hogo said as the lights shut off. From the central barrel a huge green blast charged up and sped off in the direction of the Lucifer. It nearly quadrupled the size of the next largest blast. Two seconds later the hull of the Lucifer was pounded with more energy than has ever been recorded before or since in a space battle. Yet the cannon still began its firing sequence, and the hull did not even show a scratch. The last glimmer of hope flew into the picture. The rigged Serpent flew right into the barrel of the Lucifer's main cannon and detonated. As the smoke cleared you could have heard a pin drop on the bridge of the Hogo. When the image was visable once again a great cry of despare rose amongst the members of the crew. The barrel was unscathed. And then the worst happened. The giant red beam lept out the barrel and through the portal, destroying the home base of the Knights of Daybreak. "Ma'am, we have lost all contact with Camelot. We don't know if anyone got off of it before, DAMN IT ALL! DAMN YOU FALLEN! DAMN YOU VYRAXON!" the deck officer screamed as he threw his headset across the bridge. He rushed over to a panel and slid it away to produce a laser pistol. With reckless abandon he began to shoot his crew members. "WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE! WHY NOT DIE NOW!?" he screamed. He brought his pistol to bear with the communications officer. Just as he was about to finish him, a shot caught him in the temple. Qui stood on her platform holding a smoking barreled laser pistol. "We will not go out quietly," she said, "Capital ships continue to bombard the Lucifer. All fighters take out the Sheol's before they get in range." She told a petty officer to clean the bridge of any debris and sat down in her chair. The minutes clicked away until Hogo was back up at full capacity. For now they were sitting ducks. That was not on Qui's mind though. Camelot, everything that the Knights had fought so hard to keep secret, how did the Fallen know where it was? It didn't add up in her mind. "Hogo, you are my first officer now. Help me out, you are better at this game than I am. What would Shane do at this moment?" Qui said. To her surprise a little pannel slid back on her command center. It opened to reveal a cubicle about a square foot in size. Inside Qui found several of what appeared to be Shane's personal belongings. It included a Bible; a few pictures of Katrina, the current Supreme Gaurdians, Ray, Mac, and some tall guy with sunglasses; a chocolate bar; and a little remote control with only one button. The button read, 'Use only in case of an emergency.' She picked up the remote and asked, "Hogo what does this do?" Hogo replied that he had no idea what it did, but that Shane was extremely protective of it. She wondered if she should push it. Before she could collect her thoughts the juice came back on in Hogo. "Start blasting!" she said. Immediatly Hogo's secondary weaponry began to waste the closest Serpents. Then with the help of Raven and his three H-wings began to bombard a Sheol that was within one click of being in serious damage range. Hogo's lasers had been upgraded and were more than capable to make the shot. He began to pour on the energy right at the spot where the tanker was supposed to have made its dump. A cheer went up on the deck when an explosion signaled the hull of the Sheol breaching. "All Fighters target the crippled Sheol!" Qui ordered. But before anyone could get there, Raven had his H-Wings dumping resonance bombs inside the hole as fast as he could pull the firing trigger. His ship pulled up right as they all detonated. Everyone held their breath as the Sheol exploded behind him. "This is Raven, report one down, nineteen to go," He said. Qui didn't even try to contact him because she heard the click after his transmission signaling that he had once again turned his comm off. "You have your fun, but you better come back to me," Qui said to no one over her headset. She didn't know why, but she didn't think that she could make it through this battle if he died. And the moral of the Knights would drop to the dirt. So he had to survive, plain and simple. ------------------------- "Now for Mr. Sarhedrin Blacknife, hmm interesting one he is. Reclusive, cocky, brash at times, not worthy to live," Vyraxon said as he decapitated his body. I wanted to scream but I didn't have the energy. I looked over to Mac who looked unconcious due to internal bleeding and external blood loss. At least he didn't have to witness these events. "Ah, perhaps my favorite. Draco Fireclaw, I believe you were quite close with this one weren't you McInnis? I shall enjoy the look on your face as you see him die. Or should I let him live? He is still young. He might join me if you won't. I think that I might let him live for the time being anyway," he said. He walked by Mac and kicked him to wake him up. "I want you to see this Mac, you wouldn't want to miss seeing your best friend die now would you?" Vyraxon said as he walked over to me. Mac told him to go to hell, but the saying wasn't really as insultive as it usually was for obvious reasons. "Well McInnis, I can't say that it was a pleasure knowing you. You caused me more trouble and headache than you could imagine. I will quit blabbering now and kill you. Tell God hello for me. And tell him to put up another mark on the list of champions that we have taken care of. Oh, and tell him that after Mac, he is next," Vyraxon said. I closed my eyes as the cold claw sliced clean through my neck. I didn't really feel much pain at all. I just remember everything going really dark. Then I heard a familiar voice. It told me to stand up. I awoke to find myself standing on the inside of the Gate in white robes and without a scratch on me. "Where am I?" I asked the man that I saw beside the Gate. "Well my brother, you are in Heaven. Welcome, and Praise to the God above all gods Jesus Christ," the man said. I said Amen and began to walk around. The place was beautiful beyond any description. I saw all sorts of different kinds of people, and I seemed to know them all. I could think of their names, and recognize their faces, but that was just about it. One guy came running up to me and shook my hand. I said, "Hey Luke how are you? Haven't seen you in ages." he said the same and began to lead me to the center of the city. It felt strange to me. I knew him, but something kept me from remembering. I was so overcome with joy though that the feeling only lasted a few seconds. As Luke lead me through the city I began to jump and shout Praise Jesus! It was the most wonderful feeling that I have ever felt. Before I knew it I was standing before two huge thrones, one slightly smaller than the other. Upon that throne sat Jesus Christ himself. Upon the larger throne sat God the Father, the Creator of everything. He looked to me and said, "WELL DONE MY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT." I fell at his feet unable to look upon his glory. I felt so unworthy to be in his presence. Soon he began to speak to me again. "I MUST USE YOU FOR ONE LAST TASK MY SON. MICHEAL WILL TELL YOU WHAT I WISH," He said. I rose and thanked Him for all that He had done for me and followed Micheal out of the room. "Well Shane, you finally joined our side after all huh," he said. I didn't have any idea what he was talking about. "Oh yeah, you don't remember any of that. You have to go back to the etherial plane and kill Vyraxon. I am here to give you the power to do it. Kneal down," he said. I did and he pulled out a sword from his belt. He placed the sword on my head and then on each of my shoulders. I felt a strange sensation as I rose. I reached to scratch my back but found that I had grown wings like a great bird. "You are now an angel, and you have to go to help your friends. I know it doesn't make sence, but you will remember when you get there," he said. I was escorted to the Gates and outside. Micheal pointed to the far horizon to a dark spot that seemed to grow. "There," he said. With my new wings and the sword that Micheal had given me, I flew off in the direction of the dark spot. But why? I didn't know, but I was soon to remember. "So it's true, you are a dragon," I said as I dove out of the way of his flame. When I landed I felt almost like every bone in my body was broken. I looked down to my ankle, it was swollen to the size of my calf and had a piece of bone sticking out of it. "I don't guess I'll be doing much running any time soon," I said. "YOU WON'T BE ALIVE MUCH MORE!" Vyraxon screamed. He stood up on his back legs and dropped into a fighting stance. Neck and all he stood easily fifteen foot tall. That was a good six feet above my height now that I had gone super human lvl 2. He began to charge up an attack. "APOCALYPSE CANNON!" He said as he threw his hands out in front of him. The blast ripped through the air between me and him. I decided that it was best to pull my only hope of offence, the Sword of Light. The blade of the sword easily covered my crouching body, and it was a good thing. Not only did the blast push me back fifty yards, it sucked all of the minerals and elements out of the dirt and grass around me. What was left was a twenty yard wide, fifty yard long, line of carbon ash. "What the hell was that?" I said to myself. He undoubtably heard me and started laughing. Before I knew what was going on he was flying straight at me blowing fire. I got a crazy idea and started charging at him. He saw me and made what I guess was a smile. Right before he got to me I jumped in the air and spun around. Luckily I landed on his back. He halted immediatly and tried in vain to reach back and grab me. I was too small for him to shake off so he just decided to fly up in the air and squash me on the ground. Quickly I stuck one hand down to the ground and blasted myself an escape so I wouldn't be crushed, then grabbed the Sword of Light with both hands and enjoyed the ride. When Vyraxon's back hit the ground he was impaled on the Sword. He let out a horrible cry and began to reel in pain. "Hehe, dragon ka-bobs," I said as I flew up into the air. I began to charge up my big attack while he tried in vain to pull the Sword of Light from his back. "BLACK...LIGHTNING!" I said and threw my hands into the air. A huge lightning bolt, black as night, shot down from the air. It struck Vyraxon in the chest, sending enough electricity to run NCC from now until eternity through his body. Then came the blast of thunder that threw him back off his feet and onto the ground, stabbing the Sword deeper into him. "I TAKE MY POWER BACK!" he screamed. Suddenly I felt strange my eyes got blurry and my head started spinning. I didn't have enough energy to hold myself in the air so I fell a good ten feet to the ground. I felt like someone had stuck a big leech on me and it was sucking me dry. I felt myself revert to normal human form, and my focus on maintaining the Sword of Light broke. If you have ever been run over by a steam roller you could relate to how I felt. Even my connection with the Force broke. I didn't even feel like I was wearing a Supreme Gaurdian ring. It scared the crap out of me. I didn't have anything. No ki, no Vortex, no Force, no anything. "Now, you realize how weak you really are. I am your master. I am your savior. I control you. I OWN YOU!" Vyraxon said as I felt the ground shaking under his feet as he was walking to me. My eyes cleared up enough to notice that he was gushing blood from his back where the Sword of Light used to be, but besides that he didn't appear hurt. "You see that you can't hurt me don't you. You do what I want. And I want you to die!" he said. He brought his foot up into the air and held it over me. "It was fun while it lasted wasn't it?" He asked me. The only thing that I could do was move my arm enough to lift it up and give him the finger. I saw his foot come speeding down towards me, and I prayed that God would take my spirit into His hands. I didn't stand a chance of living. When it seemed to take too long for him to stomp me, I slowly opened my eyes. I looked up to him, he was doing that weird smile thing again. "I wish that you could have felt that," he said. I had no idea what he was talking about because I had nothing to use to feel anything except for pain. "The screaming of thousands of souls at once is such an intoxicating experiance. I will tell you this right before you die. The Lucifer has just destroyed your precious Camelot, no one survived. NO ONE!" he said as he looked down to me. "Aww, did someone lose their family? Don't feel bad, you will see them shortly," he said as he made a fake little wave at me. Then it hit me. I had lost everything. I had let my friends down. I really wasn't cut out to be a leader. Before he could position himself to flatten me, the ground began to shake. Huge fissures opened up in it, and rocks started floating in the air. He stopped and looked around. Again I had no idea what to expect. The sky began to darken, and clouds began to roll in. A wind picked up and began to swirl around what I could approximate would be one of the bodies of the other Supreme Gaurdians. A funnel cloud dipped out of the sky and touched down in the same place. The earthquake increased until I was bouncing around on the ground. Vyraxon tried to pick up and fly but the wind was blowing too hard for him to stay up. Then came the voice. "YOU KILLED MY FRIENDS! YOU KILLED INNOCENT PEOPLE! AND YOU KILLED THE WOMAN THAT I LOVE!" I heard it scream. A giant blood red blast shot out from the center of the cloud and caught Vyraxon in the chest. It pushed him down into the ground and exploded sending even more debris into the air. The funnel clound lifted and I picked out the figure of a man. He was tall, about eight feet, and his hair reached down to his waist. He wore a blood red chestplate over a black shirt with boots and gloves to match. A pair of black pants, and a black flowing cloak rounded out the ensamble. He was ripped all over with veins and muscles sticking out everywhere. "You survived my second level!," he said as he flew towards Vyraxon, "But can you take my third?" I smiled as much as I could, Mac was back with a vengence. Vyraxon stumbled around and finally stood back up. He looked over to Mac and shook his head. "I killed you. You can't be alive. I KILLED Y-" he tried to say. He was cut off by a punch that Mac landed right on his lower jaw. He cut a back flip and landed on his stomach. Mac walked over to him. "Yeah, you killed me all right. You killed part of me when you killed Shandra. Then you killed a bigger part when you blew up Camelot. Do you realize how big of a coward you are? You are a worm. You don't deserve to stand in my presence. I ought to rip you apart with my bear hands. Matter of fact I think that I will. And I am starting with this "crown" you have," he said refering to the circle of ten horns that grew around the sides of Vyraxon's head. Mac put one foot on his snout, and one foot on his neck, reached down, and began to yank. One by one the horns came out with a sickening sound of sinew and bone shattering. Vyraxon tried to wriggle free from Mac's hold but couldn't do it. When the last horn was gone Mac stepped off of him and spat on him. "How big are you now you demonic son of a b*tch?" he said. Vyraxon got up and scoweled down at him. He threw his head back in a demonic pits of hell roar. "HOW DARE YOU TALK TO ME LIKE THAT! I WILL FINISH YOU OFF JUST AS EASILY AS I DID YOUR FRIENDS!" Vyraxon said as he propelled himself at Mac. But Mac just stood there. When he got close enough to swing Mac just threw his hand up and grabbed his fist. Vyraxon's left hand came around in a haymaker. Mac just as easily caught it. Then he looked to his face, "Why don't you just f*ck off and leave us alone before I actually get mad?" He jumped up and landed a drop kick right in Vyraxon's face that sent him to the ground. But Mac didn't let go of his arms. With his tail thrashing about, Vyraxon tried desperatly to break Mac's grip. "I see that you aren't going to take my advice. I guess that I'm gonna have to get mad after all," Mac said as he began to kick Vyraxon's head around like a misfigured hackysack. "I wasn't going to let you off without kicking your ass up one side and down the other anyway. You just gave me an excuse," he said. After five or so minutes of continual kicking, Mac let go of Vyraxon's arms. The dragon looked pretty worse for wear. He struggled back to all fours and roared agian. Then with what seemed to be a never ending supply of power he flew at Mac. He grabbed him with one hand and punched him in the face with the other. Mac was dazed for an instance but retalited with an uppercut to the gut. Vyraxon doubled over and Mac grabbed him by the neck. He swung him into the ground like a pick axe and followed up with a ki blast to the face. Vyraxon was back up in a matter of moments and flew back up to Mac. His tail flew put at him and grabbed him around the ankle. He brought Mac up to mouth level and cut loose a plume of fire. From the midst of the flames came Mac's fist. It landed right on the Vyraxon's snout and broke it downward into his own fire. Vyraxon's tail let loose of Mac and his hands went up to his bleeding and burned nose. This was only a ploy because within a second he had spun around and landed a kick into Mac's mid section bending him in half. His scaly hands grabbed Mac's waist and flipped him back down and chucked him into the ground. The ground that was already broken up split even more to accomodate the force and size of Mac's body. Up from the crater came a enormous ki blast that blocked Vyraxon's whole body from my view. He was thrown up into the air and out of my sight range now that I had nothing to help me to see. Mac on the other hand was perfectly visable, and walking my way still in lvl 3. "How is everyone else?" I managed to choke out. He nodded and went to the bodies of our friends. Each time he knelt he took the pulse and nodded. They were all still alive, but barely. I told him to open a portal and get them somewhere safe. Not that there was any safe place now that Camelot was destroyed. Four portals opened and four bodies began their trip to who knows where. Irvine was the first through his portal and made it through without a hitch. When Draco's body began its journey the portals slammed shut. Vyraxon was still alive, and still close enough to see what we were doing. Behind Mac I saw a shimmer of light and cried out for him to turn around. It was too late though. Vyraxon had grabbed him with both of his hands and began to squeeze him. "Let go of me blasphemer!" Mac yelled as he charged up. But Vyraxon's grip was too strong. With an audible crunch, Mac's ribs and collarbone gave way. He fell to the ground with a thud and a moan. "You are a strong one. Yes you are. But I AM STRONGER! You have no hope in beating me. The only thing that you get to do is watch your friends die. I think I will start with the shape changer. He was never that big of a threat," Vyraxon said as he pounded his way over to Cratin. "Cratin Jur, huh, weakling, consumed with foolishness, never serious, now You DIE!" he said as he exposed a wicked claw from out of his hands and sliced cleanly through Cratin's neck. I couldn't watch, I just turned my head and cried. They didn't deserve to die like this. It was all my fault and I knew it.
