I Fly by: Fragraham Lincon ------------------------------------------------- The sun is shining in my eyes and warming my body. Below the cool grass provides me a comfortable cussion. I don't think Turbo really cares how the grass feels to lay on so long as it's green and tasty. At my side is the blond haired girl who stirs so much feeling in me. Only a day ago I learned her name even though she claims to have known my name for some time now. In fact she had to teach it to me. It's surprizing the things I don't know about myself and the world. I don't know where these scars on my body come from. Particularly disturbing are two identical scars on my back. I don't know how I was born. It's rather unusual to say I came from the sky but that's what everyone says about me. I sometimes I wonder if people are afraid of me. I'm afraid of myself sometimes. The first thing I can remember I was dressed in heavy armor and carrying a bloody sword. I'm afraid that some day I'll have to use that sword. But no one seems to be afraid of me. But I think all their friendship belongs to another person. After all I didn't do all those great deeds that they say I did. And I don't really care for hurting things. But it's nice to have friends. And I hope I can be a good freind to everyone. In this day and age it's easy to make friends. The wars of history seem to be nothing more than pages on a book now. The wind blows over me. I love these lazy days where I don't have to think about things. I have so many mysteries about me but for some reason it doesn't really bother me. Thinking too much about the past or the future for that matter can be more trouble than it's worth. I've heard the local children tell tales of creatures who only live for one year. The first time anyone hears they tale they always remark at how sad it would be to only have one year of life. But now that I think of it mabey that's the best way. They don't have a long past to haunt them and don't have to worry about planning a long future. I think I'll try to live my life that way. Some people call me an angel. While I don't have wings. So long as I can live each day as if it were my last. Then I can fly.
